How much is shipping?
United States: The shipping cost is an additional fee, and a separate invoice will be sent after your order is complete. Shipping cost will depend on your location, the size of your order, and its final weight. There will be no refunds of your order even if you do not agree with the shipping cost after your purchase.
Do you ship internationally?
International shipping is unavailable right now. Please sign up for our newsletter to stay informed with upcoming changes.
How long will it take for me to receive my artwork?
Most custom artwork leave the studio within 2-6 weeks after an order has been placed. Some more complex artworks can take an extra14 days to completely dry/set/cure/string. You will be notified of your estimated shipping date after your payment is received.
Can I put a rush on my order?
It depends on your order's complexity, size, and our current workload. However, we always strive to make the impossible happen. Please contact us or send an email subject line, Rush Order Request to contact@stringhart.com to discuss your request and any applicable fees.
Can I return my artwork?
Due to the customization of your order, we do not accept exchanges or returns. All orders are final sale and payments made are non-refundable. However, if you incur any damages and need your work of art to be "restrung" a fee will be applied for the labor involved. Please contact contact@stringhart.com to discuss your needs.
Is each collection limited in number?
Each collection is limited in number or limited in their time available. Once they are sold out or time limit is up, they won't be made again to protect the integrity of the artworks and the collectors who secured them.
Does my piece come framed?
All custom orders have the option to be fully framed. Please contact us after check-out with your order number to discuss framing options.
Some collection pieces will be fully framed and sold as pictured. All framed collections will be a contemporary deep shadow box frame, which has been designed specifically for String Hart to complement each work of art.
Do I get to choose my color frame?
Yes, but color preference is only available for commissioned work. For all collections, I have decided on the frame color according to the work of art. Your frame will be either black, white, or gold.
Where is my artwork made?
All artwork is made by hand in New Jersey, USA. We work arduously for many hours to bring each work of art to life. Each work of art is inspected closely to ensure that each piece is flawless to our standards before making its way to your home or business.
What do you mean by all works are handmade?
Exactly that. Nothing is printed on canvas or comes from an overseas factory. All original works of art are carefully made with full attention to detail. Each piece of wood is cut, sanded, painted, sealed, hammered, and strung carefully by hand.
What do you mean by String Art?
All works of art are brought together by the use of wood as a solid foundation, metal nails, and thread, that is intricately wrapped around each nail to slowly bring your custom order to life. The origins of string art go back to the 19th century, originally used to teach children mathematics. Since then, the art form has evolved drastically, and today’s contemporary artists continue to innovate the use of string in endless works of art.
How do I hang my artwork?
All artworks come ready to hang. You will receive hanging hook or bar, along with all mounting screws, and instructions to securely hang your artwork. This is so you have no trouble hanging the piece yourself.
If you are located in New York (NY) and wish to have a handyman install your artwork, please contact us with the subject line Handyman for our personal recommendation.
Can I order a custom artwork?
Yes, we do accept custom orders. Simply navigate to the custom order deposit page to initiate the custom order process. After your deposit is received, we will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your order details. We will then start designing process and start creating after you approve your design.
Can I upload reference photos with my custom order?
Yes, in fact, we encourage you to upload reference photos of your ideas, color preferences and the space you plan on hanging your work of art. This will help us to create the best mockups for your final design.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, we certainly do. Please navigate to the gift card page to utilize this option.
Can retroactive discounts be applied to my order?
